PRODUCT OVERVIEW
A closer look.
Saddles are clips that fix a conduit pipe to a wall, ceiling or beam. A saddle wraps over the pipe and is screwed to the surface on one or both sides. A base saddle comes with a base piece under the pipe. This lifts the pipe a little off the wall, so it runs straight over uneven plaster and is easier to fix neatly. Electricians space saddles along a conduit run so that the pipe does not sag or move. Saddles matter most in surface conduit work in offices, shops, factories and warehouses, where the pipe is on show. B.P.I. saddles and base saddles are part of the B.P.I. range of PVC conduit pipe accessories. Tell us the conduit size and quantity, and we will confirm stock. PRODUCT FAQS
Good questions.
Clear answers.
What is the difference between a saddle and a base saddle?
A saddle fixes the pipe directly against the wall. A base saddle has a base under the pipe, which lifts it slightly for a neater, straighter run.
