Dutroflex multipurpose corrugated pipe is made by the Dutron Group of Ahmedabad from LLDPE by extrusion. Corrugations around the pipe give it strength while keeping it very flexible and light. Dutron says it is a better replacement for conventional steel pipes in many general uses. The official applications are water discharge in washing machines, vacuum cleaners and wash basins, and the transfer of air at normal pressure in industries.
